Mission Statement

The purpose of this congregation shall be that of a religious organization established and maintained not for profit, but to preach and teach the Word of God and administer the Sacraments, to provide pastoral care for its members, to preserve purity of doctrine, to exercise Christian love and fellowship, to provide for the Christian training of its members and to extend the Kingdom of God in our own community and in the world at large.

A Childcare ministry was begun by St. James in 1996 to serve a need both within our congregation and the community.  The Childcare operates in the Sunday School building of St. James Lutheran Church.  In 2008 this ministry applied for and in 2009 received its own 501(c)(3) status.
