The VOTERS MEETING will take place today, October 13th, after service. Special topics for this will include electing a lay delegate from our congregation to represent us at the Circuit Forum which takes place on Sunday, October 20th at 3 PM here at St. James. Additionally, we must submit nomination/s for Circuit Visitor of the Lafayette Circuit. The eligible candidates for this position are every active or retired pastor of this circuit. This must also be submitted before the Circuit Forum.

BAPTISM: Today, we celebrate the baptism of Lucia Marie Keller. Please continue your support for her and keep her in your prayers as she grows in the faith.

BIBLE STUDIES: Please join us for our Bible studies that we offer throughout the month. Adult Bible Study and Children’s Sunday School take place after church down in the Parish Hall. LWML will meet on the first and last Tuesdays of each month. All are welcome to join us as we study God’s Word!

GERMAN DINNER: Thank you for all your support and help with the German Dinner (and Bazaar). It was a big success!

LIVE-STREAM of the service is available down in the Parish Hall for those who need to step out of the Nave during the service.

WORSHIP ANEW—This Sunday's (October 13th) broadcast will be led by Rev. Thomas Eggold. His sermon is titled “Jesus Loved Him” based on Mark 10:21. This broadcast can be found online at worshipanew.org. Additionally, if you are looking for more Lutheran worship or music, visit kfuo.org.

LWML CHEESE SALE: St. James LWML is taking orders for Amish cheese from Heritage Ridge Creamery. The cheese is sold in one pound packages, each being $7. There are 6 different varieties to choose from. Order forms should be returned to Margo Liebner by October 27th. Cheese will be available for pickup on Sunday, November 3rd. Payment is also due that day. All proceeds will go to support the various missions of the Church.

REFORMATION FESTIVAL: Our 4th annual Reformation Festival will take place on Sunday, October 27th after church. We will have our Soup Cook-off and Pie Bake-off during the gathering. Please join us for food, trivia, games and fellowship!
