WELCOME to all who have come to St. James to worship our Lord. Whether you are a member or a guest, we are glad that you have joined us here to hear the Word of God and to receive His gifts.
CONCERNING HOLY COMMUNION: According to Christ’s Word in Holy Scripture, and in confession of the true Christian faith, we observe the ancient evangelical practice of closed communion. We believe that those who commune together must confess the same holy faith, just as the Scriptures teach. Since one’s church affiliation indicates one’s confession of faith, only those aught to commune who are communicant members of, or whose church is in confessional fellowship with, the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod. If you have any questions, or have never communed at St. James before, please contact Pastor. If you would like to receive a blessing, please cross your arms over your chest.

BIBLE STUDIES: Please join us for our Bible studies that we offer throughout the month. Adult Bible Study and Children’s Sunday School take place after church down in the Parish Hall. LWML will meet on the first and last Tuesdays of each month. All are welcome to join us as we study God’s Word!
LIVE-STREAM of the service is available down in the Parish Hall for those who need to step out of the Nave during the service.

WORSHIP ANEW—This Sunday's (December 1st) broadcast will be led by Rev. Shayne Jonker. His sermon is titled “Your Coming King” based on Zechariah 9:9. This broadcast can be found online at worshipanew.org. Additionally, if you are looking for more Lutheran worship or music, visit kfuo.org.
PEW CARDS: In each pew, we are using Pew Cards for special contact with Pastor. There is a visitor’s side that we invite guests to fill out for us. Additionally, members may fill out the card if they desire prayer requests or a visit from Pastor. Cards may be placed in the offering plate and they will get to Pastor’s desk.
CHILDREN’S CHRISTMAS PROGRAM PRACTICE will take place after service each Sunday. All of our children are invited and encouraged to join.
DEACONS/COUNCIL MEETING will be Monday, December 9th at 6/7 PM. This will be the budget meeting. Voters Meeting will be Sunday, December 15th after church.
HANGING OF THE GREENS will take place after service today.
CAROLING: Please join us for caroling on Sunday, December 15th. We will meet here at 2:30 and caravan to each stop at 3. All are welcome to as we bring Christmas cheer to those in our community.
LWML will meet at the front of church briefly immediately following the service.
