SPECIAL VOTERS MEETING: There will be a special voters meeting after service today.

DEACONS/COUNCIL MEETING will take place Wednesday, October 9th at 6/7 PM. The regular VOTERS MEETING will take place on Sunday, October 13th after service. Special topics for this will include electing a lay delegate from our congregation to represent us at the Circuit Forum which takes place on Sunday, October 20th at 3 PM here at St. James. Additionally, we must submit nomination/s for Circuit Visitor of the Lafayette Circuit. The eligible candidates for this position are every active or retired pastor of this circuit. This must also be submitted before the Circuit Forum.

BIBLE STUDIES: Please join us for our Bible studies that we offer throughout the month. Adult Bible Study and Children’s Sunday School take place after church down in the Parish Hall. LWML will meet on the first and last Tuesday of each month. All are welcome to join us as we study God’s Word!

ADULT CHOIR will practice on Thursday, September 26 at 7:30 PM. All are welcome and invited to join as we continue to sing praises to our Lord with a joyful song.

CHURCH DIRECTORY: The updated Online Church Directory for St. James Lutheran Church was launched last Sunday.

LIVE-STREAM of the service is available down in the Parish Hall for those who need to step out of the Nave during the service.

WORSHIP ANEW—This Sunday's (September 22nd) broadcast will be led by Rev. William Mueller. His sermon is titled “A Difficult Victory” based on James 3:13-4:10. GERMAN DINNER: The date for our 40th annual Bazaar and German Dinner is Tuesday, October 8th, 2024. If you have not already done so, please be thinking about your bazaar projects for October 8th.
